This drawing is inspired by a image captured by a war photographer during the 2nd Iraq War. It shows an American GI carrying an injured child from the aftermath of a bomb explosion. The original photograph has been re-interpreted by FA Productions’ resident portrait artist, Leslie Macdonald. Sadly, the child died while in the soldier’s arms.
